Ms. Prediger hopes to get over the fear of her shoelaces getting stuck in an escalator while she's being attacked by rabid bats in a dilapidated mini mall, a fear very clearly given to her by her parents - which explains her never-ending-desire-to-offend-them. She lives in a big city with her pet pigeon who, somewhat ironically, kills rodents whose shoelaces are stuck in escalators in his spare time.
